I have heard different versions of what happened. I do not know which one is the truth but I do know I was told about the graffiti long before they reported it. I don't appreciate silly lies being told to maximize the effect, in doing so they also abused the memory of the soldiers for maximum publicity. That on it's own is truly shocking! I agree with Mrs Wright it was not good publicity for the school. It was not good publicity for the community centre either in that school parents know they have lied to both the national press and the TV cameras. Parent 2 was correct, it was not a picture of children playing, it was indeed a picture of themselves. I also would like the next mural to be of the children.
