News is coming into EdSucks towers that the new E7 taxis have been taken off the road only one week after being launched.
News is that a huge cock-up took place at the City of Edinburgh council involving their licensing regulations.
Any more info on the story would be handy.

Safety! What Safety?

Well it seems that the licensing department of the Council are throwing safety which the council to the gutter in allowing new-fangled rickshaws to transport the citizens around the city at weekends and possibly enhance the queque at the Royal Infirmary on those busy weekend nights.

Once again the city council are ignoring the advice of the experts (again including the emergency services) and doing their political best to spoil one of the most beautiful streets in the city (which also houses EdSucks favourite store – H&I).

Council fees increase 33 times rate of inflation

This years hogmanay bash in the city will be marred by the news that the council intends to increase the entrance fees into the world renowned city centre party by 100% which is about 33 times the rate of inflation.
