Former council leader, the infamous Ewan “Rasputin” Aitken has been positively beaming of late. He has, he tells us, a mole in the SNP group in the Council and he just couldn’t wait to tell all and sundry around the world of the existence of said mole. It did bring a chuckle to our otherwise boring day waiting for Wendy Alexander to become the MSP for Cornton Vale.
Well it was nice to see a follow-up story in the Evening Chip Paper about Ian Perry getting ₤400,000 of council money over 10 years when he never even knew he was doing the job. It really is a bit of a joke.
