It seems our premature release of the CLD review paper has caused all sorts of problems for the rulers of Children & Families. Our own Fraudster Rosendale is furious and blaming the politicians for Edinburgh Sucks publishing it and then the Evening News doing a follow-up saying the Unison, Edinburgh’s own toothless union, are getting slightly warm around the collar.
Politicians coming in for extra kicks in the chukkies include
It seems our “exclusive” earlier this week on the slashing of front-line services in Community Learning Development (CLD) section of Children & Familes is really doing the rounds on the internet and in print publications in the city. Opposition politicians in the Council are up in arms that they have to come to rely on EdSucks towers to find out what they should be finding out in committee.
John Ross, service conditions convenor of the toothless union known as Unison (and also a member of the Council’s own management we have been informed) has joined the council and also shown his total disgregard for our city’s communities.
She is Scotland’s only independent parliamentarian but Margo MacDonald certainly delivered for Edinburgh earlier today when she managed to force the Scottish Nose Picker minority government to get the city extra cash under a move to recognise its unique status as Scotland’s capital. This is something that our former leaders Rasputin Aitken and Teflon Don Anderson not to mention the current Lib-Dem leader Jenny Dawg have been speaking about for years but with no action.
Our departed Lord Provost, famously called a “Sow’s Ear” by yet another more departed councillor really needs to come back down to earth and get in amongst the people she is supposed to be representing. Oh, I forgot, she did that and didn’t like it at all.
News from Lesley Hinds (aspiring Labour leader in the city) on her blog is that when she braved the storm of the minion public on Saturday to get people to sign up for the
It seems that six Edinburgh community centres are going to have their front-line worker taken away in the latest slashing in Children and Families. Interestingly, the report that shows the slashing was only came out two days after the last Education, Children & Families Committee meeting and all the neighbourhood based paper-pushing Managers are all sitting happy in their jobs. EdinburghSucks revealed some time ago that the CLD Managers’ salary packages were ₤80,464 back in 2005/06
Yet another long-time leech politican proves that they would do absolutely anything to get their picture in the papers. The latest wheeze for the Evening News is to get the former Lord Provost, Eric (teeth) Milligan to stick his pinky up at Sainsburys - and the prat actually did it.
