The Scottish Executive today said they were going to slash 760 jobs through natural wastage and only one redundancy. The first minister jumped in and denied the news of the job cuts alongside Labour’s commitment to full employment was ironic.

The cheating has started in the general election in Edinburgh. Long time Labour MP and Minister Nigel Griffiths started putting his election placards up last night and the Edinburgh poll-tax payers have picked up the bill to take them down.
