After a high level meeting early last week in the Chain Pier bar in Newhaven Road the new Labour candidate for the Forth Ward was chosen. The Evening Chip Paper runs a story this afternoon almost letting the cat out of the bag but without any of the details which we in the Sucks hut (we had to move out of Sucks Towers) have managed to track down.
At that meeting was the local MP, Mark Lazarowicz; MSP Malcolm Chisholm, former defeated Councillor Billy Fitzpatrick and their in-house flunky, trough piggy
She is Scotland’s only independent parliamentarian but Margo MacDonald certainly delivered for Edinburgh earlier today when she managed to force the Scottish Nose Picker minority government to get the city extra cash under a move to recognise its unique status as Scotland’s capital. This is something that our former leaders Rasputin Aitken and Teflon Don Anderson not to mention the current Lib-Dem leader Jenny Dawg have been speaking about for years but with no action.
Last night at Craigmillar’s Community Council meeting the same three office bearers who were thrown out at the recent elections were installed back into their positions against the wishes of the community and using the publicly funded resources of Crapacity Building Project, Craigmillar Childcare Services and Haywired.

A new study looking in to depravation in Scotland which was published yesterday found that more than 9,000 of the city’s residents are classed as living in Scotland’s most deprived areas.
